MSS supports employees during cost-of-living crisis

Nottinghamshire-based company MSS, is providing further support to its employees during the cost-of-living crisis by partnering with financial planners, Lifetime.

MSS specialises in mortgage and surveying services, is an accredited Real Living Wage employer and already has a number of employee benefits which help its people save money in a number of ways. These include providing free sanitary products in its offices to combat period poverty, free lunches to those working in the office, discounted gym memberships and eVouchers for retailers via employee benefits platform Sodexo – to name a few and it now adds its partnership with Lifetime to the ever-growing list.

Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, the services provided by Lifetime are accessible digitally to all MSS employees and enables those who want to use the service to understand their financial picture better – both now and in the future.

MSS employees who elect to benefit from this service will have access to three key services:

  • A bespoke, personalised financial plan (paid for by MSS) that help employees navigate through any immediate financial difficulties, as well as assistance in building a longer-term financial roadmap for employees and their immediate family.
  • Access to their own Employee Learning Hub, which hosts a variety of educational webinars, videos and useful tools.
  • The option to have a call with one of the Lifetime coaches.

Commenting on the new partnership, Sarah Cleobury, Head of People Team at MSS, said:

“With the cost-of-living crisis affecting everyone, and recent news of inflation hitting 9.1%, we want to make sure we are doing the best we can to help our employees’ money go further.

“At MSS we believe it is incredibly important to help with not only our employees’ general wellbeing, but their financial wellbeing too, which in turn aids their mental and physical health. We are proud to add Lifetime’s services to the variety of existing schemes we have to aid our employee’s finances and help relieve some of the pressure they may be facing during the constant surge in the cost-of-living.”

Sarah Kewley, National Account Manager at Lifetime, said:

“We are excited to add MSS to the list of employers we work with to provide financial guidance for its employees. The happiness of employees is a crucial element of an organisation’s success, and financial planning will aid with their wellbeing as well as enabling them to make the best decisions now and in the future.”
